What are Group Coaching Sessions?
Group sessions in coaching are dynamic gatherings where multiple participants come together to share experiences, gain insights, and learn from each other and the coaches, all while collaborating on their personal and professional growth.
Group Sessions: Connecting and Controlling with a Smile đ
Group sessions are a fantastic way to bring people together while giving coaches (and administrators) a handy mix of control and visibility. Imagine a vibrant online meeting where everyone is as connected as if they were in the same room.
Hereâs how they work:
Big or Small, Group Sessions Shine: You can host up to 45 coachees in a session, though in reality, itâs often a bit more cozy with fewer participants. Itâs like having a lively dinner party where you can easily chat with everyone!
Tag Team Coaching: Up to 5 coaches can join in, making it a dynamic team effort. Think of it as having a squad of experts ready to tackle any challenge.
Familiar Feel: Group sessions look and work much like your standard 1:1 sessions on the platform. So, no need to learn a new dance â just step right in.
In essence, group sessions are your go-to for fostering engagement and teamwork while keeping things streamlined and familiar. Whether youâre leading the charge or participating, itâs all about making meaningful connections and having a great time. đ

Notable Features of Group Sessions đ
Hereâs a handy guide to the standout features of group sessions:
Scheduling:
Coachee Scheduling: Coachees can't schedule group sessionsâthis is all managed by the lead coach or admin.
Multiple Coaches: When setting up a group session with several coaches, youâll choose which coachâs availability to follow and who will be the primary scheduler. Itâs like picking the best captain for your team.
What If the Group Coaching Engagement Has More Than One Coach? Who Schedules the Group Sessions?
âšď¸ Important Note: If a group coaching engagement has multiple coaches ONLY the admin can schedule sessions for the coaches and coachees. We want to avoid allowing coaches to override each otherâs calendars. If coaches have the ability to schedule or complete sessions, they might also change the session duration, which could inadvertently affect payments for other coaches. Keeping calendar permissions streamlined helps us maintain a balanced and efficient process for everyone involved - for these reasons, only admins can schedule when there are 2+ coaches on a group coaching engagement.
Letâs continue with Group Session Features, Shall We? đ
