1:1 Coaching Sessions: Your Personal Power Boost đ
Picture this: Youâre in a group coaching session, soaking up collective wisdom and insights. But every now and then, you need some one-on-one time to tackle your unique challenges. Thatâs where 1:1 sessions come inâtheyâre like having a personal coach on standby for a tailored pit stop in your coaching journey.
What are the Benefits of 1:1 Sessions within a Group Coaching Engagement?
With 1:1 sessions, coachees can get answers to any burning questions they have, receive tailored feedback on their unique challenges, and track their individual progress more effectively. Itâs a fantastic way to ensure that everyone gets focused attention and personalized guidance, making the most of both group dynamics and individual support.
Why Are They So Effective?
Flexible Scheduling: 1:1 sessions can be spaced out throughout the program or used as breakouts, allowing you to dive deep into personal goals and issues without interrupting the group flow.
Customized Attention: These sessions give you the chance to work closely with a coach on your specific needs. Itâs like getting a custom-fit solution in a world of off-the-rack advice.
Cohort Dynamics: In programs with multiple coaches, 1:1 sessions can be tailored to leverage this diversity. For example, your cohort might be split to work with different coaches in their 1:1 sessions, providing varied perspectives and expertise.

1:1 Sessions - Coach View Information
Check out the image below to see what a coach's view of a 1:1 session looks like. Youâll notice that in the Status pane, thereâs just one coach and a whole bunch of coachees. Thatâs because a 1:1 session is designed for only one coach at a time.
Hereâs the cool part:
Single Coach, Many Coachees: The status details dropdown displays each individual 1:1 session between the coach and their coachees.
One-Stop Management: This setup allows the coach to efficiently manage numerous 1:1 sessions all within one program item within the status details dropdown pane.
When it comes to 1:1 sessions in a group or team coaching setup, here are some features to enhance your experience:
1. Mark Complete
Marking Sessions as Completed: These are done manually as a way for coaches and admins to track the overall progress of the engagement at a higher level. This does not update the âStatus Detailsâ pane for each individualâs progress, you would need to update each individual manually within the status details pane.
2. Status Details Dropdown Pane
Overview at a Glance: The Status Pane gives you a snapshot of all coachees involved in the session and their current status. For deeper insights into each session, you can dive into the Analytics Tab in your engagement.
So, whether you're managing a handful or a multitude of sessions, everything is neatly organized and easy to handle. Happy coaching. đ
