Your Engagement Assignments: Links, Files, Forms and Tasks

Think of Links, Files, Forms, and Tasks as the ultimate tools in your coaching engagement. Each one plays a special role in making your coaching engagements smooth and effective.

These assignments/items can be seamlessly used throughout your group or team coaching engagements. The platform makes sure everything is neatly organized for coachees, coaches, and admins alike.

How to Add Assignments (Items)

Maybe you’ve already set up your Group Coaching Engagement Template, but now you want to sprinkle in a few more assignments/items. No worries—here’s how to add them manually to your engagement in just a few simple steps:

Step 1: Find Your Engagement: Head over to the engagement you want to update and click on the ‘Engagement Details’ tab.

Step 2: Add New Items: Hit the +Add Item button. Choose what you want to add to your group coaching engagement—forms, files, tasks, or links. It’s a breeze!

ℹ️ Important Note: Only admins, stakeholders, AND independent coach accounts have the ability to add new items to an active engagement. As an internal coach working for a business or company, you will need to be a stakeholder in the engagement to be able to edit the engagement and add new items to it.

Assignment Items - Coachee View

Coachees can check out a Link, File, or Task, they get a simplified view tailored just for them. They’ll see only the details that matter to their own experience—no extra info about the larger group or cohort assignments. It’s all about making their journey smooth and straightforward!

What Coachees Can Do within an Assignment in Their Engagement

  • Coachees can easily view all their assigned assignments, whether sent by their coach or admin. If an assignment hasn’t been sent yet, they’ll still be able to see the title and description, but won’t be able to take any further action on it.

  • Coachees can easily mark certain assignments as completed. For example, if they receive a link, file, or task from their coach or admin, they can check it off once they're done. Additionally, if they’re sent a form, they can fill it out and submit it, and that assignment will be automatically marked as ‘complete.’ It's a simple way to keep track of their progress.
