Each account type has different permissions in Coaching.com. There are 5 different account types that have unique permissions:

  • Coachees

  • Coaches

  • Global Admins

  • Location Admins

  • Engagement Stakeholders

What can Coachees See?

  • When an Admin invites a Coachee to log in, they can only see their own engagement. They cannot see other people’s engagements.

  • Coachees can only see program items assigned to them; they cannot see program items assigned to Coaches, Admins, nor anyone else.

  • Goals under the Goals tab are visible to the Coach, Coachee and Admins.

  • Notes are private by default, however individuals can optionally share notes with others

  • Resources added under the Engagement Resources tab are visible to the Coach, Coachee and Admins.

What can Coaches See?

  • When an Admin invites a Coach to log in, they can see their own Dashboard. They cannot see the data from the Admin dashboards.

  • Coaches can only see program items assigned to them.

  • IF set as a Global/Location Admin or an Engagement Editor, Coaches have full access to the Admin settings within the engagement.

  • Goals under the Goals tab are visible to the Coach, Coachee and Admins.

  • Resources added under the Engagement Template Resources tab are visible to Coach, Coachees and Admins.

  • Files added under Engagement Settings are only visible to Coaches, Admins, and Engagement Editors.

  • Only Global Admins can see confidential form results.

What Can Global/Location Admins See?

  • Global Admin can view all of the Coaching.com Admin account data.

  • Location Admin can only see the Admin account data based on their location set by an Enterprise Admin.

  • There are also limited view admin roles that will anonymize data or even limit that user to see only reports.

What Can Engagement Stakeholders See?

Engagement stakeholders can only see and access admin settings and admin data per engagement. Editor stakeholders can also make changes to these engagements while Viewer stakeholders can only view the engagements.

Engagement stakeholders are assigned to engagements by admins.

Point of Contacts

When an admin invites a Client Company Point of Contact to activate their account, they will be able to see all engagements with their own employees. They will have the same functionality of a global admin for their organization.

Point of Contacts cannot see private notes or confidential survey results unless explicitly shared.
