Resources can be shared across the platform in a few different ways. In this article we are going to show you how to share resources with your coaches so they can access them and share them with their coachees as needed.

The global resource area is available on the left navigation bar. This area is where an admin or coach will access all of their resources they own or if an item is being shared with them via another team members global resource tab.

From here you are able to share items with predefined groups like global admins, internal coaches, and more. You can also share items with individual members of your team and adjust what permissions you are giving them for the specific resource by clicking the 3 dot icon on the item and clicking share.

Now that you know how to share resources with your teammates, lets talk about how to share resources with coachees. One way is by adding resources to your engagement template. This will automatically share resources with all engagement participants of the engagement using the template.

First you will need to navigate to the engagement template by clicking on your company settings then the engagement template section. From here you will select the template you would like to add resources to and click the resource icon in the upper right side of the screen.

Once you are on the engagement template resource tab you will be able to create new resources or add them from your global resources.

Resources added here will be automatically shared with all engagement participants of engagements using this template so you will not need to follow the steps to share them with users, this will be done automatically.

From your Engagements page select an engagement then select the resources tab of the engagement. From here you will be able to create new resources or add existing resources from your global resources tab.

Please note that when adding resources to an engagement it will be private by default and you will need to click on the 3 dot icon and follow the previous steps to share the resource with either everyone that has access to the engagement or a specific user. This time when searching for a users name coachees will appear as an option to share the resource with.
