2025 is off to an amazing start, and this release is adding to the momentum. There are some significant enhancements arriving in this batch, that span from a new video conference partner, expanded functionality for Coaching.com Video, and Rich Text program item descriptions. These new options on the platform will help to bring delight to coachees and coaches.
In This Release
Zoom Meetings Integration
This release extends the video conference options on the platform by introducing a new integration with Zoom for dynamic meeting links. Coaches with Zoom accounts can now link their account to Coaching.com to create unique meeting links for every session and interview.
Zoom is a widely used video conference tool for coaches and professionals. And now with a few clicks, coaches can use Zoom for all of their sessions without any extra effort. Every session will have a unique meeting location for privacy and security.
Additional Attendees For Coaching.com Video Sessions
With the recent upgrade of Coaching.com Video, the platform is now bringing additional enhancements that make including additional attendees a breeze. Previously there were a few hurdles to include additional participants to sessions (like managers or HRBP's). These participants would have to be invited to set up a coaching.com account, and they would have to login prior to joining a call. This was a huge burden, which is no more...
Now you can include additional participants with their email address, or share meeting links, and these participants can join without the hurdles. Users will be presented with a lobby to add their info, the coach (or meeting host) will get a notification in the video session, and the coach can allow the participants to join.
When additional participants show up who are unauthenticated show up, they will see a lobby screen to enter their name (as shown below). There is the option to login as the coach or coachee to gain additional benefits within the session.
Administrators will then see requests to join the meeting in the Requests tab of the right rail (Seen below). After checking the check mark, or pressing the 'Accept All' button the participants in the lobby will be able to join the call.
In all this is vital progress for Coaching.com video, and should provide more flexibility for coaches in the future.
Rich Text Descriptions for Sessions, Tasks, and More
Transform your programs and program items with more flare by using a new toolkit within the program item descriptions. There are new controls available for administrators to make sessions, tasks, files, links and all other program items more vibrant and expressive than every by using the new rich text controls (as seen below).
Now, while editing program items within a template, or engagement, the rich text controls allow for changing the style of the copy to include:
Bold, Italic, and Strikethrough font
Headings for information architecture such as H1, H2....all the way to H6
Thematic Breaks or HR's
Block Quotes
Bullets, Numbered Lists, and Task Lists
Tabular data
Images
and links
Note: When rich descriptions are used for sessions, tables and images will be removed before sending in the invitations and reminders.
This is a great enhancement that to make the platform a more striking experience for both the coach and coachee.
