Overview

The Coaching Analytics & Insights standard dashboards and custom reports comes with functionality for sending reports by email. The reports can be sent right away, or scheduled.

Delivery Options

Every standard dashboard and custom report comes with options for sending the report via email. Next to each dashboard/report a 3Dot menu will provide options to:

  • Send - Dialog to send the dashboard, including the ability to schedule future or recurring deliveries.

  • Scheduled - Shows any delivery schedules that have been set for the dashboard

  • Sent - Provides history of the deliveries that have been made in the past.

Below is a screenshot of these options.

The 3Dot Menu is also shown on the top right of every dashboard or report.

When you want to email a dashboard or report, or setup a recurring delivery you can select 'Send' from the 3Dot menu next to each report. You can send emails to yourself, to your team, or clients if desired.

When the Delivery Settings dialog opens you will see 3 tabs covering Send settings, Scheduled settings, and also Sent history.

When sending a dashboard or report, you can include a comma delimited list of emails, and by default the report will send 'Now'. There is a subject field that is required along with a message that can be filled in, and will be included in the email that is sent.

Future and Recurring Scheduling

Reports can be scheduled for future delivery, or even for recurring deliveries. Under the 'When' label is a dropdown allowing for the selection of 'Schedule'. Selecting this will present new options.

The 'Schedule for' and 'Time' fields allow for setting a future date/time for sending the report.

Additionally, the 'Repeat' checkbox can be selected to allow for setting up recurring reports

With recurring report deliveries you can choose the frequency of reports based on:

  • Day

  • Week

  • Month

  • Year

You can select to end the recurrence on a specific date, or after a certain number of occurrences.

The 'Scheduled' tab shows any future deliveries for the report or dashboard. The following screenshot shows both a recurring report delivery as well as a single report delivery. The reports can be cancelled by clicking on the trash can icon.

The 'Sent History' provides a log of every time the report has been emailed.
