Who is the Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner course for?
This course has been designed to suit experienced coaches, who want to develop their own, unique approach to team coaching. The core models provide a language client teams can easily understand and apply both with the coach and when the coach has gone. If you enjoy helping people find elegant solutions to complex situations, you will find that this course radically enhances your toolkit.
What is the difference between the Team Development Essentials and the Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner course?
In the Team Development Essentials, we started coaching leaders to better enable their teams, coach the team through the team leader, or how to start with the team.
In the Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner you will learn how to effectively convey “why team coaching” to a potential client partner, how to expand your practice by coaching a team using the Five Disciplines of high-value creating teams, and SIDER, a model for scoping, contracting, and delivering team coaching work.
You will expand the range of approaches you can use when coaching teams, and the authority, presence, and impact required to be a successful team coach.
After engaging with Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner, you will gain the ability to coach teams, deliver off-site workshops, and carry out structured team diagnostics.
How is the Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner course different from other courses/programs?
The Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner course brings together the top names and key authorities in the field and offers a flexible live-online learning environment.
The course incorporates the latest research globally into teaming and team coaching and is among the first to be accredited against international standards for team coaching. It synthesizes a wide range of approaches to provide new team coaches with the confidence and competence to tackle many common issues faced by teams. It enables them to recognize the limits of their current competence and create a challenging but realistic personal learning plan to grow into the team coach role.
The emphasis on systemic approaches provides the team coach with a much wider portfolio of responses and ways forward than the typical linear models. It challenges many assumptions about teams and team coaching, allowing you to develop your own, unique, evidence-based practice.
Combined with Group Supervision, the course was designed to meet the International Coaching Federation's (ICF) standards of Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching (AATC), providing participants a clear path to achieving the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC). As of December 31, 2023, there were only 347 active ICF-ACTC holders worldwide.

Is there a sample report for Team Connect (TC) 360? Yes, a sample report is available to help you understand the insights provided by TC360. You can access it here.Check AoECs dedicated site for guides, brochure and further examples.
Is the Team Connect (TC) 360 a requirement? TC360 is a semi-automated process designed to take some of the legwork away from the coach for this part of the team coaching process, it has been designed as an ‘off the shelf product’ to enable it to be delivered as cost effectively as possible.
There are other ways you can obtain this information, for example conducting interviews or by using High Value Creating Team Questionnaire (HVCTQ) which is free of charge.
Are there any alternatives to the Team Connect (TC) 360? Yes, as an alternative, you can conduct interviews or use the High Value Creating Team Questionnaire (HVCTQ) to collect all the necessary information about the stakeholders.
How much does the Team Connect (TC) 360 cost? Are there any discounts available? Systemic Team Coaching Practitioner participants were secured with a discount of 20% from the usual price for the duration of the course.
0-30 responders - £600 (approx. US$760)
31-50 responders - £825 (approx. US$1,045)
51 – 80 responders - £1,050 (approx. US$1,330)
80+ responders - please contact [email protected] for the quote.
An additional 20% discount is available for clients based in developing countries and those operating as a registered charity or not-for-profit.
The invoice is payable by the coach and can be raised in USD, GBP, or EUR when you commission the survey. Full payment will be required before AoEC issues the client report.
Note: AoEC will not invoice or engage with your client directly. This allows you to add your own margin when you invoice your client. If you are offering the TC 360 survey and/or your coaching services pro-bono, you will need to arrange for any reimbursement of costs incurred independently.
Visit a dedicated website for Systemic Team Coaching® Practitioner participants by the AoEC with detailed videos, materials and more.
How much time does it take to complete the assessment? The TC360 takes between 15 and 30 minutes per responder, as there are about 30 questions in total that only require a numeric answer. If someone is committed and dedicated then they'll add comments, and if they are thoughtful comments, it could easily take up to 30-60 minutes.
How long does the overall process take with a team? Ideally, no more than two-weeks. This is from start to finish to allow sufficient time for as many responders to complete as possible. You will need to supply a deadline date, so everyone knows what you are working towards to. This deadline date can be extended if needs be. AoEC will issue regular reminders to those that have not completed, together with regular updates to you as to how it is progressing.
What’s the minimum number of responders? We recommend 20 to 30 responders to produce high quality data although it will still work with lower numbers and larger companies will usually have more people to input. The responder numbers are the total number of responders, so for a team of 6 we would on average expect (although it will vary for each client) – primary stakeholder x 1; Team Members x 6; Team Reports 6 to 12; Other stakeholders 6 to 12: so, in total between 19 and 31 responders.
Who should be included? That is for you to agree with your client, however, most surveys would usually include the following:
Primary Stakeholder – usually one person but can be more if required. Typically who the Team Leader reports into
Team Members – all of the Team members including the Team Leader
Team Reports – selected individuals who report to the Team Members
Stakeholders – you can identify up to three stakeholder groups. This could include clients, suppliers, regulators or other teams within the organization who have an interest in the team’s function and performance.
Please note that AoEC is unable to label the stakeholder groups when producing the Client Report. They will, however, be color-coded throughout the report to help when reviewing the data.
Can I use the Team Connect (TC) 360 with a new team? TC360 is best suited for teams that have been functioning for at least six months. Stakeholders need substantial knowledge about the team to provide meaningful feedback. For new teams, consider using interviews or future-focused questions to gather expectations and insights instead.
Do I need to define a start date and a deadline date? A start date is required so that AoEC knows when to launch the survey. They also need to check that you have arranged with your client that the respondents have been briefed to expect to receive this request and understand why they have been asked to provide feedback. This also avoids requests being identified as ‘junk mail’. The deadline date is required to give responders a date to work to and this will be included in the invitation and on each reminder.
Can the deadline be extended if required? You will receive regular updates throughout the process detailing who has and has not provided feedback from the AoEC. Should you wish to extend the deadline to allow more time for people to respond that can be arrange at no additional cost by contacting [email protected].
What is the expected response rate? If the recommended preparation and briefing steps are followed comprehensively, typical overall response rate is between 80% and 85%.
Can we change the report format and branding? TC360 was developed as an ‘off the shelf’ product to save time interviewing clients and stakeholders individually. To keep the cost of this product to a minimum the mechanics of the tool were kept simple, as such there is no facility to change the report format or branding.
How long until I receive the report? The final report is usually produced and shared within 1 working day of the survey closing. If a print-friendly version is required please contact [email protected] and one will be arranged for you at no additional cost.
What if I need help feeding back to my client? How to debrief the survey report with your client is not included in the TC360 fee.
You can use the tool with the client that you work with whilst in the Systemic Team Coaching Practitioner course. However, you should be aware that it will not be until Module 2, where the tool is introduced that you will have the benefit of support and supervision via your Practicum Group.
Is TC360 available in other languages other than English? At the moment it is available in English but we are busy looking at translating it into more languages. If you would like to assist please let us know as we are currently exploring getting this translated into a number of different languages.
Is TC360 GDPR compliant? The TC360 process is fully compliant with current GDPR regulations, further details can be made available upon request.
