Getting started is easy!

First navigate to your Company Settings, and click on Marketplace. This will take you to your marketplace settings page where you can set up your profile and manage your coaching packages.

You can reserve a custom URL that way you can be easily found in the marketplace by current and potential coachees. Next, you can create your profile by following the checklist under ‘Getting Started’. As you click on each item you can finish each task on the right-hand side of the page. Once the checklist is complete you can click on publish profile to set your profile to live on the marketplace.

Note: Make sure to connect a Stripe account to collect payment from purchased packages.

Note: This feature will be available to Business and Enterprise plans soon!

Create a Package

Now that you have an active profile on the marketplace you can create your coaching packages to be sold. The first step is to make sure that you have a program template created for the program you would like to add. If you need to create one click on the button below.

Next, click on the CREATE NEW button next to the packages header to open the Add New Package modal.

Now select the program template from the drop-down menu, enter a name for your program, a description, and a price. Now click create a package to save your package as a draft.

The final step is to publish your coaching package. You can do this by clicking the three dots on the package and selecting activate.

That's it! Your coaching package is now available to be purchased by current and potential coachees via the Coaching.com marketplace.

Coach Ratings

Upon completing a coaching engagement, coachees will be able to provide a 1-5 star rating along with a written review for their coach. This applies to all marketplace engagements.

When a coachee completes a Marketplace engagement they will receive a Rating Form.

A coachee will be able to give the coach a 1-5 star rating, 1 being ‘Very bad’ and 5 being ‘Very good’. They will also be able to fill out a written review, this is optional. Lastly, they may choose to submit a review anonymously. By choosing to be anonymous the coachee's name is not revealed to the coach nor is their name disclosed on the coach profile Reviews section.

After a coachee submits a rating, the coach and the engagement creator will be notified (if applicable).

The coach may reference all submitted ratings under their coach profile.

A coach’s overall rating calculation is based on a Bayesian model. Something to note is there is no overall calculation until after a coach receives a minimum of 5 ratings. We do so, so as to get a better, more accurate representation of the coach’s quality of services.

Additionally, only the 20 most recent ratings will be taken into consideration when calculating an overall rating. As many coaching engagements may last anywhere from 6 months to a year we want to make sure we are only taking into consideration the coach’s most recent line of work as it is more telling of their current quality of service.

Reviews and overall ratings will be displayed in their coach profile both in in-app and in the Marketplace.
